Clergy Personnel

Office Mission: As the Office of Clergy Personnel, we collaborate with the Bishop and Secretariat for Clergy and Religious, in a ministry of service to priests, parishes and institutions of the Diocese of Cleveland. Director: Rev. Donald P. Oleksiak doleksiak@DioceseofCleveland.org

Office Support Staff: Kathy Bonsignore kbonsignore@DioceseofCleveland.org

During this time of transition in the Diocese the Clergy Personnel Board is committed to being available and of service to those anticipating a change in assignement due to the merging or closing of parishes. Please be certain to contact  Fr. Don Oleksiak or any of the board members if you have particular questions or concerns.  Know that you remain in our prayers.

In other news the Holy Father has announced a special year for priests. Benedict XVI highlighted the "indispensable struggle for moral perfection which must dwell in every truly priestly heart. In order to help priests work for spiritual perfection, upon which the effectiveness of their priestly ministry depends the Holy Fahter has decided to call a special "Year for Priests" which will run from 19 June 2009 to 19 June 2010. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the death of the 'Cure of Ars", Jean Marie Vianney, whom the Holy Father calls "a true example of a pastor at the service of Christ's flock." Watch the Secretariate for Clergy and Religious website for further information pertaining to activities in the Diocese to celebrate the "Year for Priests".
